STEP 1: WHISK DRY INGREDIENTS

Whisk together the cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Why cake flour?

  • Cake flour has more tender texture

Why should I add salt? it’s a dessert…?

  • Salt brings out the flavors

Why baking powder? Can I use baking soda instead?

  • Baking powder is like baking soda but already neutralized.
